Leading an extremely demanding career in the Travel Industry it was crucial to find a diversion where I could encase myself in my own world
away from the everyday life of an office regime.
I accepted an invitation to a ceramic exhibition in the early 1970,s where i watched the art of wheel throwing. From that time on I knew this was my
passion. It was the peacefulness, serenity and endless artistic power that captured me. Consequently my diversion from the travel industry took the form of clay.
Currently my work has taken a sculptural pathway incorporating both hand and altered wheelwork.
